Gardone Riviera awarded for two years in row "Blue Flag!"

233 Italian beaches have been awarded this year with this prestigious international award.
The Blue Flag is given to all European coastal resorts that meet the quality criteria set by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), which are related, for example, to the quality of bathing water, the environmental protection plans, the cleaning of beaches and services, safety measures, etc.

The new Italian beaches awarded in 2011 are: Amendolara in Calabria, Fasano in Apulia, Gardone Riviera in Lombardy, Oristano and Castelsardo in Sardinia, Lipari and Ispica in Sicily.
